Sarah Jenkins is a Portland-based writer, editor, and mother of two energetic kids who keep her perpetually exploring the outdoors. With over a decade of experience in parenting media, she brings an authentic, hands-on perspective to every product she tests and story she tells.

Before joining Gathered Days, Sarah worked as a product tester for outdoor gear brands and wrote for several national parenting publications. She's known for her no-nonsense approach to gear reviews — if it can't survive a muddy hiking trail with a toddler, it doesn't make the cut.

When she's not testing the latest baby carriers or stroller wagons, Sarah can be found at farmers markets, camping in the Columbia River Gorge, or coaching her daughter's soccer team.
